Competition Rules
In any dispute the decision of the Umpire, or, where appropriate, the Match Secetary and/or ties Committee will be binding on ALL Competitors.
The Competition will be played on a Round Robin Basis.
Each game will comprise of 8 Ends.
The Competition shall be timed. A Horn, or Whistle or similar, will sound at the start of each game and will sound again after 63 minutes thereafter No more jacks but Players will be permitted to complete a commenced End.
Games to be played on league system.
Scoring, shall be 2 points per win : 1 point for a draw.
The winner of each league and the highest runner-up will compete in stage 2.
Section Winners will be determined by score.
In the event of a further tie, End difference will count.
In the event of a tie, Shot difference will count.
In the event of a further tie, the Team winning the greatest number of ends (overall) shall determine the winner.
In the event of a further tie, the Team scoring the greatest number of shots (overall) shall determine the winner.
In the event of a further tie, the Team winning the greatest number of ends (game palyed between both teams) shall determine the winner.
In the event of a further tie, the Team scoring the greatest number of shots (game palyed between both teams) shall determine the winner.
In the event of a further tie, the team who won the tie shall qualify.
In the event of this tie being drawn, the number of ENDS won between the two teams will determine the outcome.
In the event of both teams winning the same number of ends, each player shall throw one bowl from a mat placed 3m out from the ditch and to a jack placed 28m from the front edge of the mat and on the same rink as the tie was originally played.
The Team winning the toss of a coin shall determine who shall throw the Jack and the first bowl.
The winning team shall be the team nearest the jack.
Section Runner Up or where three sections the Overall Highest Runner-Up
The highest team finishing in second place within each section. Where there is an uneven number of sections, the overall highest runner-up shall be the best placed Second place Team scoring the highest points.
In the event of a tie, Shot difference will count.
In the event of a further tie, End difference will count.
In the event of a further tie, the Team winning the greatest number of ends shall determine fourth place.
In the event of a further tie, the Team scoring the greatest number of shots shall determine fourth place.
In the event of both teams winning the same number of ends and scoring the same number of shots, each player shall throw one bowl from a mat placed 3m out from the ditch and to a jack placed 28m from the front edge of the mat and on a "Neutral Rink" not required for stage 2 and drawn from the hat. The Rink may be one which both Teams have played on prior to their last game.
The Team winning the toss of a coin shall determine who shall throw the first bowl.
The winning team shall be the team nearest the jack.
Semi-Final / Final

The winning team shall be the team nearest the jack.
